Alan Pilbeam makes a welcome return as speaker to tell us about William Tyndale and his Gloucestershire roots, taking us from Tyndale’s birth in the south of the county, his language studies, preaching and writing in Europe, to his Bible translation and eventual martyrdom in 1536.
